The day’s plenary session, thematic panel presentations, and capacity-building workshops will build upon the first two days of the conference by focusing on strategies for transferring existing knowledge into actions that lead to improved access to quality family planning services.

To ensure that these activities achieve their goal of being a catalyst for action, the Partners of the IBP Consortium will synthesize key messages and lessons learned into a plan of action and coordinate support for country-specific activities.

In the words of the IBP Secretariat, “The IBP Partnership is committed to making a change in the landscape of family planning programmes. We cannot rely on ‘business as usual’.  We need to have all partners work together at the global, regional and country levels to make a difference.”
